Fire Gloves
Firefighters risk their lives everyday for the benefit of everyone in the community. They face dangers that most of us can scarcely imagine. They enter into the most dangerous of situations and environments, where, quite often, the dangers that lie ahead are clouded by black smoke; but even this uncertainty cannot deter our firefighters. With all the hazards they deal with, it seems the least they deserve is a good pair of fire gloves. We recommend the American-Firewear Super Glove made from Kangaroo skin.
A fire scene is a fiery labyrinth of life-threatening hazards. Often using nothing beyond basic tools like axes and hammers, firefighters must break into buildings and rooms, coming into direct contact with items that may be dangerously hot. Good protective fire gloves can give them the needed defense against touching hot surfaces and causing serious burns. Flash flames and heat can shoot out of newly penetrated walls, while the firefighters are dangerously close. In close calls like these, having the proper equipment, like fire gloves, can make all the difference.
There are different types of fire gloves for varying situations that a firefighter might encounter. Extrication fire gloves are equipped with special material suited for grabbing and easily gripping various surfaces; such gloves are crucial when performing vehicle extrication. We recommend Ringer Barrier Gloves. There are also structural fire gloves, made from leather and equipped with special cuff and arm guards, to help protect against flames; these gloves are ideal for working in close proximity to the actual flames, such gloves are crucial when using equipment to break into burning buildings or rooms.
Considering all the dangers and perils firefighters must face every day, it is sad to think that some firefighters out there are not even equipped with decent fire gloves. Inexpensive fire gloves, provide effective protection for firefighters. For a great selection of fire gloves, log onto www.american-firehouse.com.
