Black Knight Industrial Lightweight & Tough Nozzle with extra reinforced composite. Composite constructed in 1.5" size and adjust from wide fog to shut off position. Rigid. Much more durable and dependable compared to conventional polymer nozzles as they are highly reinforced with fiberglass which allows the nozzle to hold its shape under heat and pressure. Fire Rescue
When conducting fire rescue operations, fire departments depend heavily on the equipment they use for the job. Fire rescue workers risk their lives every day to protect the people in our communities when tragedy occurs. Sometimes municipal departments lack the funding necessary to purchase new equipment for their firefighters. With this in mind, it is crucial that fire departments buy the highest quality equipment when their budgets allow for it, so that their devoted firefighters can perform their jobs as effectively and safely as possible.
The scene of a fire rescue can seem like a maze, disorienting, complex, and fraught with danger at every turn. A fire scene can consist of some of the most hazardous conditions imaginable. Flash fire flames, extreme heat, crumbling structures, and possible explosions are all elements that a firefighter could face on any given job. Firefighters never know exactly what to expect when they arrive at a fire. Usually people involved are distraught and in a state of panic, and sometimes there are serious injuries and even deaths. Considering all the hazards and unknowns a firefighter might face on the job, it is particularly important that the fire rescue equipment on which they so depend be in good condition.
All one has to do is recall the horrendous events of September 11, 2001, to realize how very brave and heroic our firefighters really are. Without the proper fire rescue equipment, they would likely have saved fewer people from that fiery inferno on that fateful day. With that in mind, we should always be supportive of our firefighters, by ensuring that they have the latest and best fire rescue equipment available.
